The Tobacco Free Lancaster County (TFLC) coalition consists of 28 community partner agencies and several individuals. Our purpose is protecting the public by eliminating exposure to secondhand smoke, preventing youth from starting to use tobacco, providing tobacco education to all populations, and encouraging people to quit.
TFLC’s goals are to:
- Educate the community with up-to-date tobacco prevention information.
- Advocate for policies that reduce tobacco use and protect the public from secondhand smoke.
- Engage a variety of agencies, businesses, and individuals in tobacco prevention activities.
- Take action on tobacco related issues impacting Lincoln and Lancaster County.
To accomplish our goals, the coalition has four task forces:
