What happens when local public health ideas get a national spotlight?
This summer, we found out.
Our Tobacco Free Lancaster County (TFLC) team packed up our best strategies, success stories, and lessons learned — and headed to Chicago for the National Conference on Tobacco or Health (NCTOH). It’s one of the biggest gatherings in the country for people working to reduce tobacco and vaping use, and we were honored to share the stage.
We covered a lot in our two presentations:
How media + community partnerships have supercharged Tobacco Cessation Week and local Great American Smokeout campaigns across Nebraska.
How our vape disposal program is keeping schools safer and communities cleaner — and inspiring others to take action.
Want the inside scoop on what we shared (and the visuals to match)?
