This May, TFLC is once again teaming up with the Mental Health Association of Nebraska and the Lancaster County Prevention Coalition for the #GreenLightProjectNE – to light up our community in vibrant green to bring mental health awareness to the forefront once again!

The link between tobacco use and mental health challenges is often overlooked. Individuals struggling with mental illness use tobacco at a much higher rate than the general population. Research has shown that tobacco use worsens mental health over time, exacerbating stress, anxiety, and depression. Our campaign is all about spreading hope, encouraging open conversations about mental health, and rallying support for those seeking to quit tobacco.

Starting April 15th, we’re offering free green light bulbs and yard signs at our partner locations, available in both English and Spanish. These symbols of support and awareness are yours to claim while supplies last! If you joined us last year, it’s time to dust off your green lights and yard signs to show your support again!
